Bean Curd in Barbecued Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
For the sauce:
-
2 cloves garlic,
finely minced
-
1 cm fresh green ginger, finely minced

1 tbsp light soy
sauce
-
1 tbsp honey
-
1 tbsp rice wine
-
1/2 tsp five spice
powder
-
1/2 cup water or stock
Serves 4
Method:
-
Mix the sauce
ingredients together and heat through until
simmering; cook for five minutes.

Heat some fresh
cooking oil and gently fry the bean curd cubes,
turning carefully. Remove from pan
and drain.

Remove the
strings from the snow peas and drain the young
corn.
-
Fry all vegetables for 2 minutes, add the bean
curd and sufficient barbecue sauce to coat the
ingredients. (Leftover barbecue sauce can be stored
in the refrigerator and used with other dishes).

Heat through for one minute
further and serve immediately.
