Asian Recipes - Chinese Sautéed Crystal Prawns Balls Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 kg large prawns

  • 1/3 tsp of salt

  • 1 tsp of pure corn flour

  • 1 tsp of Chinese "Siew Hin" wine

Serves 4


Method:

  1. Peel prawn shells and clean prawns. Season prawns with salt and pure corn flour.

  2. Heat frying pan, then pour cooking oil. When oil is boiling hot, put prawns into oil for five minutes.

  3. Take out prawns and place on a plate. Pour away oil, wash frying pan. Put a little bit of fresh oil into frying pan again, pour prawns back to frying pan, add Chinese "Siew Hin" wine and fry for 2 minutes.

  4. Place prawns on plate garnish with shredded red chili, onions and ginger.
