Asian Recipes - Egg Flower Soup Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 cups chicken stock, unsalted

  • 2 tbsp Chinese wine

  • 1 tsp sesame on

  • soy sauce to taste

  • 2 eggs, beaten lightly

  • 3 tbsp chopped spring onions

  • 1/2 tsp salt

Serves 4


Method:

  1. Bring stock to the boil, add wine and sesame oil. Add soy sauce to individual taste.

  2. Season beaten eggs with half teaspoon salt, pour slowly into the boiling soup. Stir once or twice.

  3. Serve at once, sprinkled with chopped spring onions.
