Ingredients
Serves 4
Method:
-
Peel pumpkin and cut
into uniform pieces about 5cm square.
-
Boil
together the water, the flavorings and the gula
melaka.
-
Add the pumpkin and cook until tender
(about 40 minutes).
-
Check by piercing the flesh
with a skewer or sharp knife.
-
Add the coconut
cream and bring back to simmering point to allow the
sauce to thicken.
-
Do not cover with a lid. Serve hot
or warm with glutinous rice or by itself.
