Method:
-
Shell and de-vein
prawns and season with sugar and salt.

Blend red
chills, shallots, lemon grass, candle nut and
shrimps paste to smooth paste.

Prepare 1 cup
tamarind juice from the tamarind and strain it.

Fry blended ingredients in oil.
-
Add prawns and
fry for 5 minutes and add tomatoes and tamarind
juice.
-
Cook for about 5 to 8 minutes till prawns are
cooked and the sauce thickened.

Add salt and pepper
to taste and serve.
