Ingredients

2 squares of
good quality bean curd
-
2 strips
of tempe
-
20-30 long
beans of French beans,
sliced into convenient lengths
-
4
red chilies, sliced thinly
-
2 large onions,
sliced
-
1 tsp each sugar
and salt
Rempah:
Serves 4
Method:
-
Cube both the bean curd and the tempe and fry
(separately) in hot oil until brown on all sides.

Remove from the pan and drain. Fry the onions till brown
and remove from the pan.

Fry the rempah until
fragrant, adding a little water to prevent burning. Add
all the remaining ingredients: the tempe and bean curd,
the fried onions, seasoning and sugar and the
vegetables.

Heat through and simmer for about 3 minutes
and serve.
