Asian Recipes - Sri Lanka Mint Sambol Recipe

Ingredients

  • 150 g mint leaves

  • 1 tsp sugar

  • 1 slice ginger

  • pinch pepper powder

  • 2 tbsp vinegar

  • salt

  • 1/2 chopped onion

  • 2 tsp desiccated coconut

Serves 4


Method:

  1. Wash, and clean mint leaves.

  2. Place in blender, or liquidizer, all ingredients and blend until smooth.

  3. Season. Place in a serving dish and sprinkle desiccated coconut over the top.
