Asian Recipes - Thai Steamed Sea Bass Recipe

Ingredients

  • 800 g sea bass

  • 1/4 liter fish stock

  • 30 g sliced ginger

  • 30 g Chinese celery

  • 80 g black soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp salt

  • 1 tbsp pepper

Serves 4


Method:

  1. In a covered pan, simmer the sea bass in the fish stock until the flesh flakes easily when tested with a fork.

  2. Remove the fish to a fireproof dish; pour all the ingredients and fish stock over the fish.

  3. Poach the fish for 4 minutes and serve at once.
