Asian Recipes - Thai Water Chestnuts with Coconut Milk (Tahb Tim Grob) Recipe
Ingredients
500 gm Water chestnuts
1/4 liter Coconut milk
1/4 liter sugar syrup
200 g Tapioca flour
2 tbsp red coloring
1 cup crushed ice
Serves 4
Method:
Cut the water chestnuts into small dice. Coat them with tapioca flour and red coloring.
Cook them in a pot of boiling water for 6 minutes.
Drain the coated water chestnuts and immerse them in a bowl of sugar syrup.
Pour the coconut milk and crushed ice into the bowl of mixture and serve at once.
