Asian Recipes - Thai Water Chestnuts with Coconut Milk (Tahb Tim Grob) Recipe

Ingredients

  • 500 gm Water chestnuts 

  • 1/4 liter Coconut milk

  • 1/4 liter sugar syrup

  • 200 g Tapioca flour

  • 2 tbsp red coloring

  • 1 cup crushed ice

Serves 4


Method:

  1. Cut the water chestnuts into small dice. Coat them with tapioca flour and red coloring.

  2. Cook them in a pot of boiling water for 6 minutes.

  3. Drain the coated water chestnuts and immerse them in a bowl of sugar syrup.

  4. Pour the coconut milk and crushed ice into the bowl of mixture and serve at once.
