Chinese Recipes - Abalone in Cream Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 abalones (canned)

  • 2 bamboo shoots

  • 1/2 cup (100 cc) shelled lima beans

  • dash of salt

  • 1/2 can champignons

  • 3 tablespoon oil

  • 1 cup (200 cc) milk

  • 1/2 cup (100 cc) soup stock

  • 1 tablespoon cooking wine

  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • dash of monosodium glutamate (MSG)

  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

4 servings


Method:

  1. Thin slice abalone and bamboo shoot.

  2. Remove inner skin from lima bean. Boil in salted water until tender.

  3. Heat oil. Fry bamboo shoot, abalone and champignon. Add soup stock. Simmer.

  4. Add milk and seasoning. Thicken with cornstarch mixed with water.

  5. Add lima beans stir till well mix and serve.
