Ingredients

400 g (14 oz) ground
pork
-
1/2 talk green onion
(chopped)

dash of ginger juice
-
5 tablespoon soy sauce
-
1 tablespoon
cooking wine
-
1/2 teaspoon salt
-
dash of monosodium
glutamate (MGS)
-
1 egg
-
1 tablespoon
cornstarch
-
oil for frying
-
400 g (14 oz) Chinese
cabbage
-
4 tablespoons oil
-
1 cup (200 cc) soup
stock
-
1 teaspoon sugar
-
1 teaspoon
cooking wine
4 servings
Method:
-
Mix ground pork with green onion, ginger juice,
1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp wine, salt and MSG. Add egg. Mix
and add cornstarch. Mix well.

Form into 4 large
patties. Fry in 190° (480°F) oil till golden. Cut
cabbage into 5X3 cm (2 X 1 1/4inch) pieces.

Heat 4 tablespoon oil. Sauté cabbage. Add
in soup stock, 4 tbsp soy sauce, sugar, 1 tsp
wine and MSG. Place meat over cabbage and simmer
for 1 hour.
