Chinese Recipes - Braised Pork with Eggs

Ingredients

560 g (20 oz) fresh
bacon
-
1/2 green onion, cut up
-
1 slice ginger
-
6 hard boiled eggs,
shelled
-
1 cup (200 cc) water
-
2 tablespoons cooking
wine
-
1 tablespoon sugar
-
6 tablespoons soy sauce
4 servings
Method:
-
Cut pork into 5 cm/2 inch cubes.

Parboil meat. Wash off scum
and drain.

Simmer meat in water with wine, onion and
ginger for 30 minutes.
-
Add scored eggs and
seasonings. Simmer 1 hour longer.
