Ingredients

Method:

Cut beef into 3 cm (1
1/4 inch) cubes. Scrape turnip.
Cut into pieces.

Heat oil. Fry onion, ginger, garlic and beef.

Remove
to saucepan. Add water and soy sauce, sugar, star
aniseed and MSG. Cook covered
till tender.

Add turnip, reduce heat. Simmer.
