Chinese Recipes - Chicken with Hot Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/2 spring chicken

  • 2 cucumbers

  • 1 clove garlic

  • 1 slice ginger

  • 1/2 stalk green onion

  • 2 chili peppers

Sauce:

  • 1 tablespoon sesame sauce

  • dash of hot pepper sauce

  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 1/2 tablespoon vinegar

  • 1 teaspoon sugar

  • dash of monosodium glutamate (MSG)

4 servings


Method:

  1. Shred cucumbers. Mince garlic, green onion and ginger.

  2. Boil chicken in water for 30 minutes. Bone and shred.

  3. To prepare sauce: Add all sauce ingredients and mix well.

  4. Arrange cucumber and chicken on platter. Mix with sauce just before serving.
