Chinese Recipes - Fried Bean Curd Rolls Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 or 4oz or 10 strips f soy bean curd (foo chook)

  • 1/4oz Chinese mushrooms, soaked in water for 10-15 minutes and cut into thin strips after removing the stalks

  • salt and pepper to taste

  • 1lb cooking oil (for deep frying)

4 servings


Method:

  1. soak strips of soy bean curd in cold water for 3 to 5 minutes. Strain well.

  2. Roll 4 or 5 strips of the Chinese mushrooms with each long strips of bean curd. Tuck in the edges well.

  3. Fry in hot oil for 3-5 minutes. strain well and serve preferably with oyster sauce.
