Chinese Recipes - Fried Bean Curd Rolls

Ingredients
-
3 or 4oz or 10
strips f soy bean curd (foo chook)
-
1/4oz Chinese
mushrooms, soaked in water for 10-15 minutes and
cut into thin strips after removing the stalks
-
salt and pepper to
taste
-
1lb cooking oil
(for deep frying)
4 servings
Method:
-
soak strips of soy
bean curd in cold water for 3 to 5 minutes.
Strain well.
-
Roll 4 or 5 strips
of the Chinese mushrooms with each long strips
of bean curd. Tuck in the edges well.
-
Fry in hot oil for
3-5 minutes. strain well and serve preferably
with oyster sauce.
