Chinese Recipes - Fried Spring Chicken Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/2 spring chicken

  • dash of ginger juice

  • 1/2 stalk green onion (cut)

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 1/2 tablespoon cooking wine

  • 4-5 tablespoons cornstarch

  • oil for frying

  • pepper salt and/or ketchup

4 servings


Method:

  1. Chop chicken into 3cm/1 1/4inch pieces. Marinate in ginger juice, green onion, soy sauce and cooking win.

  2. Drain after 30 minutes. Roll in cornstarch.

  3. Deep fry in 180°/370°F oil. Serve with pepper salt and or ketchup.
