Chinese Recipes - Hot Chinese Cabbage Recipe

Ingredients

  • 400 g (14 oz) Chinese cabbage

  • 2 chili peppers (shred)

  • 2 tablespoons oil

  • 3 1/2 tablespoons sugar

  • 2 1/2 tablespoons vinegar

  • 1 1/2 tablespoons salt

  • dash of monosodium glutamate (MSG)

4 servings


Method:

  1. Cut white part of cabbage into 5cm X 5mm (2 X 1/4 inch) strips.

  2. Heat oil. Add chili pepper and cabbage. Fry over high heat.

  3. Add seasonings. Mix and serve cold.
