Chinese Recipes - Sautéed Egg with Pork Recipe

Ingredients

  • 120 g (4 oz) pork

  • 2 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 2 teaspoon cooking wine

  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch

  • 1/2 stalk green onion

  • 2 dried mushrooms (soaked)

  • 6 clouds ears

  • 1 slice ginger

  • 1 bamboo shoot

  • 1/3 bunch spinach

  • 3 eggs

  • dash of salt

  • 6 tablespoons oil

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • dash of monosodium glutamate (MSG)

4 servings


Method:

  1. Shred meat, marinate and mix with cornstarch. Shred mushrooms and bamboo shoots.

  2. Cut spinach in 4 cm (2 inch) pieces. Slice green onion. Soak clouds ears in water.

  3. Beat eggs slightly, add salt. Heat 3 tbsp oil until hot and quickly scramble eggs. Set aside.

  4. Heat oil. Add and fry in order: green onion, ginger, meat, bamboo shoot, mushroom, clouds ear and spinach. Blend in seasoning.

  5. Pour in scrambled eggs, mix quickly and serve hot.
