Chinese Recipes - Sautéed Pork Liver Recipe

Ingredients

  • 400 g (14 oz) pork liver

  • dash of ginger juice

  • 1 tablespoon cooking wine

  • 4 tablespoons cornstarch

  • oil for frying

  • 1 onion (cut into 8 pieces)

  • 1 clove garlic (slice)

  • 3 tablespoons oil

  • 1 teaspoon sugar

  • 2 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce

4 servings


Method:

  1. Soak liver in water. Drain well. Cut into bite size slices.

  2. Season with wine and ginger. Mix in starch. Fry in 180° (370°F) oil.

  3. Heat oil. Fry onion and garlic. Add liver. Add soy sauce and sugar. Mix and turn off heat.
