Chinese Recipes - Shredded Pork with Green Pepper Recipe

Ingredients

  • 200 g (7oz) pork

  • 1 teaspoon cooking wine

  • 1/2 tablespoon soy sauce

  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch

  • 6 green peppers

  • 1/2 green onion

  • 1 slice ginger

  • 1 clove garlic

  • 6 tablespoons oil

  • salt

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

  • 1/2 teaspoon each of sugar and salt

  • monosodium glutamate (MSG) to taste

4 servings


Method:

  1. Shred pork, season with cooking wine, soy sauce and mix in starch.

  2. Heat 3 tablespoons oil. Quickly sauté green pepper, season with salt. Set aside.

  3. Heat remaining oil. Sauté onion, ginger and garlic. Add meat and soy sauce, sugar, salt and MSG. Add green pepper. Mix. Turn off heat.
