Chinese Recipes - Shrimp with Green Pea Recipe
Ingredients
500 g (17.5 oz) shrimp dash of salt
dash of ginger powder
1 teaspoon cooking wine
1/2 egg white
1 tablespoon cornstarch
oil for frying
2 tablespoons green peas
2 tablespoons oil
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 tablespoon cooking wine
dash of sugar
dash of monosodium glutamate
4 servings
Method:
Clean and shell shrimps. Parboil fresh peas in salted water.
Remove black veins from shrimps. Wash in salted water. Drain. Season with ginger and wine.
Mix with egg white. Mix with cornstarch. Deep fry quickly in 140° (280°F) oil.
Heat 2 tablespoons oil in another pan. Sauté shrimp until color changes.
Add seasonings and green peas. Serve hot.
