Chinese Recipes - Special Fried Meat Dumpling
Ingredients
Skin:
Filling:

400 g (14 oz) Chinese
cabbage
-
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
-
2 tablespoons soy
sauce
-
1 tablespoon lard
-
2 tablespoons sesame
oil
-
200 g (7 oz) ground
pork
-
1/2 stalk green onion
-
dash of ginger juice
-
1 tablespoon cooking wine
-
dash of monosodium
glutamate
(MSG)
-
3 tablespoons oil
4 servings
Method:
-
Make skin as in Fried Meat Dumpling.
-
Make filling by
same method as for Fried Meat Dumpling (refer
recipe).
-
Place filling in center of one skin. Cover
with another skin. Press skins firmly around edge.
-
Make ridges
with thumb around edge. Fry in thick pan. Turn
2-3
times
till well done.
