Chinese Recipes - Steamed Fish Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 black sea bream

  • 1/2 stalk green onion

  • 1 slice ginger

  • 3 dried mushrooms (soaked)

  • 1 bamboo shoot

  • 1 tablespoon cooking wine

  • 2 tablespoons soup stock

Sauce:

  • dash of ginger powder

  • 1 tablespoon sugar

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt                 

  • 2 tablespoons vinegar

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

4 servings


Method:

  1. Clean fish. Score both sides. Place cut green onion and ginger inside.

  2. Slice mushroom and bamboo shoot. Arrange around fish on plate.

  3. Pour wine and soup stock over fish.

  4. Steam for about 20 minutes. Serve sauce separately.
