Chinese Recipes - Steamed Meat with Layer of Prawn
Recipe
Ingredients
-
1/2 or 3/4lb
minced pork or minced chicken meat
-
10 big prawns
(remove the shells and intestines)
-
1 beaten egg (fry
for about 3 minutes to make omelet, cut in 1/4
inch small square slices)
-
salt and pepper to
taste
-
1 tsp MSG
-
1 beaten egg
4 servings
Method:
-
Place the minced
chicken meat or minced pork in a mixing bowl.
Add beaten egg, salt, pepper and MSG and stir
well.
-
Spread 1 or 1 1/2
dessertspoonful of meat on to each prawn.
-
Form them well
into oblong shapes, 1 1/2 inch by 1 inch.
-
Top each oblong
shape ball with a slice of omelet. Steam for 10
to 15 minutes.
