Chinese Recipes - Steamed Prawn and Minced Meat Balls

Ingredients

1/2lb minced meat
(lean pork, chicken, meat or beef)
-
1/4lb minced
prawns
-
10 quails eggs,
(boiled for 15 minutes and shelled)
-
salt and pepper to
taste
-
1 tsp MSG
-
1 dessertspoonful
taioca flour or corn flour
-
1 tbsp lard or
cooking oil
4 servings
Method:
-
Mix minced meat,
minced prawns in a mixing bowl. Add corn flour
or tapioca flour, salt, pepper, MSG, cooking oil
or lard. Stir well.

Form into 10 balls
of about 1 inch in diameter and 3/4 inch thick.
Top with cooked quails eggs.

Steam on a greased
enamel plate for about 15 to 20 minutes.

Serve with chili
or oyster sauce.
