Chinese Recipes - Sweet Rice Cake Recipe
Ingredients
2 cups (320 g) glutonous rice
300 g (10.5 oz) bean paste
20 pieces bamboo leaves
4 servings
Method:
Wash bamboo leaves and soak till soft. Place 2 leaves together. Fold lengthwise. Fold in 3 cm (1 1/4 inch) at end.
Place 2 tablespoons rice in fold. Fill center with 1 tablespoon filling.
Cover with 1 tablespoon rice. Form into triangle.
Fold leaf forming triangle. Cover rice completely.
Tie firmly with string. Cook 2 hours in boiling water. Remove leaves before eating.
