Dim Sum and Snacks Recipes - Pork and Tofu Dumplings

Ingredients

  • 250 g pork mince

  • 2 cups finely shredded Chinese cabbage

  • 1 cup bean sprouts

  • 4 finely chopped spring onions

  • 1 grated carrot

  • 60 g chopped tofu

  • 2 cloves crushed garlic

  • 2 teaspoons grated fresh ginger

  • 2 tablespoons dry sherry

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil


Method:

  1. Cook 250 g pork mince in a little oil until browned. Add 2 cups finely shredded Chinese cabbage, 1 cup bean sprouts, 4 finely chopped spring onions and 1 grated carrot. Stir over heat until cabbage wilts.

  2.  Add 60 g chopped tofu, 2 cloves crushed garlic, 2 teaspoons grated fresh ginger, 2 tablespoons dry sherry, 1 tablespoon soy sauce and 1 teaspoon sesame oil. Mix well, cool, then make dumplings as above pork dumpling method.
