Indian Basic Recipes - Mint and Cucumber Raita Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (25 g) mint leaves

  • 1/2 cup (25 g) coriander leaves (cilantro)

  • 1 baby cucumber, diced

  • 2 teaspoons grated ginger

  • 1 teaspoon minced green chilies

  • 1 cup (250 g) yogurt

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper


Method:

  1. Mince the mint and coriander leaves and combine with the cucumber, ginger and green chilies.

  2. Whisk the yogurt in a bowl, add the mint mixture, salt and pepper and mix well. Serve as an accompaniment to any Indian meal.
