Asian Meats Recipes - Indonesian Hot Crispy Steak
(Dendeng Panggang Bumbu) Recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. (250 g.) rump
steak (thinly sliced)
-
salt to taste
-
2 tablespoons cooking
oil
-
8 green chilies
(seeded & coarsely pounded)
-
4 medium onions (cut
into wedges)

2 tablespoons vinegar
Serves 4
Method:
-
Season well the meat with salt. Put under low
griller heat for 3/4 hour. Remove and turn all the
slices over. Grill for another 3/4 hour.

Heat oil.
Stir-fry chilies and onions for 1 minute.
-
Add
grilled meat and any cooking juice. Mix well, then
add vinegar. Adjust seasoning. Remove from flame.

Serve with boiled white rice and other dishes.
