Spiced Meat (Singgang Daging) Recipe
Ingredients

1lb. (500 g.) beef
(sliced into large thin pieces)

2 1/2 cups thick santan/thick coconut milk

3 daun jemk pumt/curly
lime leaves

banana leaves (lightly
crush hard centre vein & grill)
Ground Ingredients:

Method:

Mix together the beef, coconut milk, curly lime
leaves, and ground ingredients. Keep aside.

Cover
base of heavy iron pan with a banana leaf. Place
meat-mixture on it. Cover with another banana leaf.

Cover the pan with a tight-fitting lid. Cook over
very low flame for 5-6 hours.

Adjust seasoning.
Remove from heat and discard banana leaves. Allow to
cool completely before serving or storing.

Serve
hot or cold with boiled white rice and other dishes.
Note:
The dish will keep for a week without
refrigeration.
