Ingredients

1lb. (500 g.) tender
steak (minced)

1lb. (500 g.) potatoes
(boiled, peeled & mashed)

2 eggs (hard-boiled &
shelled)

2 dessertspoons butter
(melted)

1/2 lb. (250 g.)
carrots (peeled & diced)
Seasoning

Mayonnaise Sauce
Ingredients:
Serves 4-6
Method:

Mix together the mince and mashed potatoes.
Mash the eggs and mix with the melted butter.

Season the egg-mixture to taste. Mix well into mince
mixture.

Add carrots. Place in greased mould and
cover with tight-fitting lid. Steam till cooked.

Slice meat cake. Serve hot with mayonnaise sauce.

prepare
sauce. Beat egg-yolks. Add seasoning to taste.

Gradually beat in vinegar and melted butter. Adjust
seasoning. Dish up.
