Asian Rice, Noodles and Snacks Recipes - Indonesian Savory Omelet (Telurdadar Sedap) Recipe

Ingredients

  • 5 eggs

  • salt to taste

  • 4 tablespoons margarine

  • 1 big onion (thinly sliced) 1 red Chili

  • 1 green chili seeded & sliced slantwise

  • 2 small half-ripe tomatoes (thinly sliced)

Serves 4


Method:

  1. Beat well the eggs with salt and 1 tablespoon margarine.

  2. Heat remaining margarine in a large pan and fry the onion till soft.

  3. Add chilies, tomatoes and salt. Cook till tomatoes are soft.

  4. Pour egg-mixture over tomato-mixture and stir a little. Cook on low heat till set and lightly brown on the under side.

  5. Turn omelet over and brown the other side.

  6. Serve hot, cut in wedges.
