Pickle (Jeruk Bawang Merah) Recipe
Ingredients
Serves 4
Method:

Mixed together the
1/2 cup water,

Peel onions, taking
care not to bruise them. Boil water with salt, then
cool it. Soak the onions in this for 25 minutes.
Drain.

Bring vinegar mixture to the boil. Adjust
seasoning and remove from flame.

Put in the
onions immediately. Cover tightly. Allow onions to
cook through.

When the pickle is cool, store in a
sterilized bottle. Keep for a week before serving.
