(Ikan Goreng Asam Garam) Recipe

1 sprig daun
sup/Chinese celery

1/4 lb. (125 g.) local
tomatoes (sliced)

1 jemk nipis/lime
(cut into thin wedges)
Serves 4
Method:
-
If the fish is large, slice it. Score, if small, but
leave whole.

Blend salt and tamarind into the
water. Soak fish in it for 15 minutes. Drain well.
-
Heat oil to smoking point. Fry fish till cooked
and crispy.
-
Drain fish. Garnish and serve hot.
