Glutinous Rice Sweet

Ingredients
Serves 8
Method:

Dry-fry glutinous rice over low flame till nearly
golden. Keep aside.

Make a very thick syrup with
both types of sugar.

Add the roasted rice to the syrup. Stir till
well-mixed and the mixture holds together. Remove
from flame.

Transfer mixture to a greased shallow
mould. Pack in tightly and weight down with a heavy
weight for 20 minutes.

Cut into squares while
still warm. Serve.
