Sesame Biscuits
(Kuih Bangkit Bijan) Recipe
Ingredients

5 eggs
-
8 oz. (250 g.) sugar
-
5 tablespoons
desiccated
coconut
-
1 1/4 lb. (625 g.) corn-flour
-
sesame seeds, to
sprinkle
Makes

Method:
-
Beat together the eggs and sugar till mixture is
frothy.

Mix in the coconut, then blend in corn-flour.

Roll out pastry and cut with a biscuit-cutter. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top of
each.

Arrange in a floured baking sheet. Bake in a
preheated moderate oven (400° F/gas mark 6) till
firm and lightly browned.

Turn out and cool a
little. Serve, or store in an airtight container
till needed.
