Method:

Peel the garlic and chop finely. Cut the tomatoes
into fairly small cubes.

Peel the onions and cut
into thin slices. Cut the kaftir lime leaves into
wafer-thin strips.

Add the sambal trasi and stir
well.
Note:
Instead of being served cold, this sambal may also
be cooked in groundnut or palm oil. If pieces of
meat, fish or crab are added it makes a complete
dish.
