Ingredients

  • 600 ml (1 pint) vanilla

  • ice-cream

  •              I tablespoon powdered

  • green tea matcha (see

  • box)

  •              One 350 g (13-oz) can

  • sweetened azuki beans

  • (optional)


Method:

  1. Blend the ice cream and powdered green tea together and freeze in a plastic container. For an interesting variation, serve green tea ice-cream with the sweetened red beans.

Powdered Green Tea (motcho) is readily available from Japanese food stores. It is an essential ingredient when making green tea ice-cream.
