Prawn Salad (Pazun Thoke) Recipe
Ingredients

large onion, thinly sliced

raw prawns, shelled and deveined

1
heaped tablespoon finely chopped coriander
-
2 small
red or green chilies, finely chopped
-
1 lime
-
salt
to taste
Serves

Method
-
Place the onion on a serving plate and set aside.
-
Bring a pan of water to the boil and briefly dunk
the prawns in it until they just change color.
Drain well and place on top of the onions.
-
Sprinkle
the coriander and chili over the prawns, then halve
the lime and
squeeze
the juice of both halves over the prawns.
-
Sprinkle a
little salt to taste, mix well and serve.
