Asian Salad Recipes - Cambodia Spicy Duck Salad (Yoam Sat Tuey) Recipe

Ingredients

  • crispy salad

  • 2 duck breasts, finely chopped

  • 1 level tablespoon galangal, finely chopped

  • 5 small red shallots, thinly sliced

  • 2 spring onions, thinly sliced

  • 1 heaped tablespoon roughly chopped coriander leaves

  • 2 tablespoons fish sauce

  • 1 heaped teaspoon sugar

  • 2 tablespoons lime juice

  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder

Serves 4


Method:

  1. Arrange the salad on a plate and set aside.

  2. Heat 3 tablespoons of water in a pan, add the duck and simmer until cooked through, about 5 minutes. Remove from the heat.

  3. Add all the remaining ingredients and mix well. Turn out on to a plate and serve accompanied by the salad.
