Pork Chops On Rice
Ingredients
2 cups long grain white rice
6
pork chops
1
tbsp peanut oil
salt and black pepper
Vietnamese sauce (nuoc cham sauce) (see sauces
recipe)
Method:
Pour the rice
into a saucepan and add water to cover by 2 cm (3/4
inches). Bring quickly to the boil, cover tightly
and cook on low heat for about 20 minutes.
In the meantime
cook the chops in a pan with the peanut oil,
seasoning with salt and pepper.
Pile the rice
onto plates with a pork chop on top of each and
Vietnamese sauce at the side. Serve with a dish of
salad.
