Pork And Beef Recipes - Sautéed Bean Sprouts with Pork

Ingredients

  • 90g (3 oz) lean pork, thinly sliced

  • 1 tbsp fish sauce (nuoc mam)

  • 1 tsp sugar

  • 1/6 tsp black pepper

  • 2 slices ginger, finely shredded

  • 2 large spring onions, shredded

  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil

  • 375g (12 oz) fresh bean sprouts


Method:

  1. Cut sliced meat into fine shreds and place in a dish with the fish sauce, sugar, pepper and ginger.

  2. Mix well and leave for 20 minutes. Sauté the meat in oil until lightly colored, add the spring onions and sauté briefly, then add the bean sprouts and sauté until just softened.

  3. Check seasoning and serve hot with rice.
