Sauces And Appetizers Recipes - Vietnamese Sauce Dip (Nuoc Cham)

Ingredients

  • 1 small red chili, finely chopped

  • 1 small clove garlic, finely chopped

  • 1 tbsp sugar

  • 3 tbsp fishy sauce (nuoc mam)

  • 3 tbsp water

  • 1/4 small lime, squeezed


Method:

  1. In a mortar grind the chili, garlic and sugar to a paste, add the remaining ingredients and mix well.

  2. Store in the refrigerator in a tightly closed bottle.
