Ingredients

1/2 cups chicken or fish stock
2
tsp fish sauce
1/4
tsp white pepper
9
spears canned asparagus, drained
185g (6 oz) shredded crab meat
3
eggs whites
2
spring onions, chopped
fresh red and green chili, shredded
Method:
Bring stock to
the boil, season with fish sauce and white pepper.
Cut asparagus into 6 cm (2 1/2 inch) pieces, and add
to the stock with crab meat.
Simmer on low
heat for 2 minutes. Beat egg whites lightly and stir
into the soup. The egg should form white threads in
the soup. Cook for another minute.
Garnish with
chopped spring onion and shredded chili.
